After the formation of the Jharkhand state, the government was very keen to set up educational board to meet the needs of the students of the state. The state government set up an institution called the Jharkhand Academic Council in 2003.
The main aim of the Jharkhand Academic council was to cater to the needs of the students and recognize the potentialities of the students. The JAC is responsible for conducting examination, preparing the syllabus, and recognizing schools in the state.
The main function of the Jharkhand Board is to conduct examinations for the 10th class and evaluate their performances. The exams are held during the month of March and the results are declared in the month of May. The results will be declared on the official website of the Jharkhand Board i.e www.jharesults.nic.in.
The students will be provided with the JAC 10th class/Matric Examination 2016 Hall ticket or the Admit Card in their respective schools. The Cards can also be downloaded online.
