After the formation of Chattisgarh, the Government took an initiative to develop the educational system of the state and formed Chattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. The CGBSE is an agency of the Government which is responsible for the growth and development of secondary education in the state. The main functions of the CG Board is to conduct examinations, propose rules for creating textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses and encourage and inspire the students and faculty.
The CG Board conducts exams in the month of March and the results will be declared in the month of May. The CGBSE also gives the facility of writing the exams through self study and correspondence mode. This facility helps the students who cannot attend the school on a regular basis. The CG Board provides Certification of qualification after passing the examination. The results can be viewed online on www.indianresults.info
The students will be provided with the Hall ticket or the Admit Card in their respective schools. The admit cards can also be downloaded online.
