Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) was first started in 1974. In 1996, took over Pre-University courses as well. Since then all the academic, financial and administrative matters for SSLC and HSSLC branch are being looked over by the Board. After 1996, the Board is handling matters related with devising of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational courses of study, framing of syllabus and conducting examinations for all the classes, including SSLC and HSSLC.

MBOSE HSSLC Exams 2016
Meghalaya Board of School Education conducts HSSLC examination every year in the month of March.
The Time table for Meghalaya Board Routine for HSSLC/12th Class exams 2016 will be released few months prior to the exam to allow students time for preparation.
