We welcome all the aspiring students to our website. We would like to inform that Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development is inviting applications for scholarship for admission in to its PhD in Youth Development programme for the academic year 2016-16.
Details of RGNIYD Fellowships:
• Subjects available are Gender Studies, Local Governance, Life Skills Education and Development Studies.
• The Institute will offer the grant to limited number of exemplary candidates for pursuing full time PhD courses an amount of Rs.13,000/- PM plus contingency grant.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Master’s Degree in the above mentioned Areas/ Social Sciences/ Humanities with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Also note that for part time PhD course a two years of work experience in the relevant field is required.
• The Candidates who hold M.Phil./JRF/NET/SLET degree are not required to give the entrance examination, but they have to appear for the interview.
How to Apply:
• Applying for this scholarship is very simple. The application form is available at the website http://rgniyd.gov.in/.
• The application form should be submitted along with the demand draft for Rs.500/- as the application fees. Demand Draft must be drawn on a nationalized bank in favor of “The Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development”, payable at Sriperumbudur.
Instructions:
The candidate are required to enclose the attested copies of the documents like proof of date of birth, Mark Statement of UG, PG and M.Phil degrees, eligibility certificates of JRF/NET/SLET and community certificate along with the duly filled in application. Original documents are to be presented at the time of interview.
