The West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is an educational establishment formed to promote and develop the aspect of Higher Secondary Education in the state of West Bengal. This WB board fulfills the educational needs of the students in different fields. The board grants and withdraws recognition to the secondary and higher secondary schools, advices the government on matters of policy relating to education in general. The board follows a uniform pattern of education, maintains a uniform standard, advices the government in standard requirement in all matters.
The WBCHSE prescribes conditions for admission of regular and private candidates to the final exams. HS Examinations are conducted by the Board twice a year i.e the Annual exams in the month of March 2016 and Supplementary exams in the month of October 2016. The results for the annual exams are declared in the month of May 2016. Results can be viewed online onwww.wbbse.org/result.htm or www.indianresults.info
