Veer Kunwar Singh University, Arrah was established in the year 1992 after the famous patriot and a freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh. The University covers 4 educationally backward districts of Bihar - Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur & Rohtas. 47 affiliated colleges, 17 Constituent Degree Colleges and three Law Colleges to its credit VKSU Ara has carved itself an extremely respectable niche for its name.
