The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) was established to regulate, supervise and develop Secondary education in the state of Assam. It started functioning with a conduct of 11 year H.S.L.C (High School Leaving Certificate) examination. The Assam Board has different branches which together help in the smooth running of it. All the branches perform different functions such as conducting of exams, recruiting the teachers, maintaining accounts, maintaining the stock etc. The SEBA ensures that all the schools in the state run effectively according to the rules and regulations laid by them.
The examination branch conducts HSLC/AHM examinations at the end of X class. The examinations are conducted in the mid of February and would end in the mid of March. The results will be announced in the month of May. The Assam Board of Secondary Education has come up with a new idea of providing a toll free number 1800-345-3711 for redressal of exam related problems of students to ensure a smooth conduct of HSLC examination. This helpline will be open from 7:00am to 10:00pm
The Board of Secondary Education Assam will issue the admit cards or Hall tickets through the Principals or Headmasters of the schools. All the SEBA class 10 students will find Assam categories to get the latest updates from Assam state and find the Hall tickets label for getting complete details about Admit cards from eManabadi.com.
