Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) came into existence in the year 1969 to set up a fully fledged educational system in the state. The Punjab board organizes research for grading of textual vocabulary and arrange for regular revision of text books. It provides lectures, demonstrations, educational tours, exhibitions, seminars and symposia to improve the standards of education.
The PSEB examination branch of the board conducts exams every year. The Board conducts exams in the month of March 2016 and the results are announced by the month of May 2016. The Punjab board grants certificate for the students who have passed out the exams which is required for admission into higher classes.
