NU UGET 2016 Application Form, Fee Structure, Exam Date, Procedure
The Nitte University Undergraduate Entrance test (NUUGET) 2016 qualifies students to pursue under graduate courses such as MBBS and BDS at K. S. Hegde Medical Academy and A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences. The National level Entrance Examination enables the qualified to apply for the above mentioned undergraduate courses. About 150 seats are allotted for the MBBS course and 100 seats for the BDS course. More information regarding the NUUGET 2016 can be found below –
Who can apply NU UGET 2016?
• The applicant should be an Indian Citizen
• An applicant who has completed his 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with an aggregate of 50% - General Category
• An applicant who has completed his 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with an aggregate of 40% – SC/ST Category
• The applicant should be at least 17 years of age as on the 31st of December 2016
About the NU UGET Exam:
• The exam includes 180 multiple choice questions and is conducted in English medium
• It includes questions from the following categories –
60 questions – Physics
60 questions – Chemistry
60 questions – Botany
• The exam runs for about 3 hours
• Each correct question is awarded 1 mark; No negative marking
• Please refer to the notification to get more information about the Syllabus, pattern of examination
NU UGET Application Procedure:
• The applicants are expected to pay an amount Rs.1000 towards the application fee
• Go to the official website - nitte.edu.in to download the application form from the 29th of January 2016
• The applicants are suggested to read the instructions carefully prior to filling the application form
• The filled application form needs to be printed
• The application form must have the applicant’s signature and photograph affixed to complete the process
• A Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of ‘Nitte University’, Payable at Mangalore
• The printed Application form and the DD needs to be sent to the following address along with the other essential documents (attested) such as 10th and 12th marks memos, caste certificate and 2 PP size photographs

• First Date for downloading Application Form: 29th January 2016
• End Date for receiving Hard Copy of the Application Form along with the other docs: 5th May 2016 (5 pm)

• Exam Date: 12th May 2016
• Merit List: 12th June 2016
• Counseling Session for MBBS: 26th June 2016
