Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University or better known as MMHAPU was established in 1998 at Patna and in the year 2009 became the member of Association of Indian Universities. 2008 was the year when MMHAPU became officially functional. Until then, the university was non functional with no students or courses to its credit.
MMHAPU Patna offers courses in various streams. The graduation and post-graduation courses that has comes with experienced faculty members. Courses in Business Management, Computer Applications, Journalism & Mass Communication and Library & Information Science see to it that the students are offered courses which groom them overall and keep them abreast with the technology and current trends.
The students who are interested in pursuing Diploma courses in Languages can achieve it with MMHAPU. Diploma courses with a time frame of 1 year can be pursued, courses offered are in Arabic, Persian, Manuscriptology, Accountancy for Panchayati Raj Institutions and Oriental Librarianship. A few certificate courses can be availed here which are Vocational courses, helping students start a career.
