Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (MESCOM) has announced notification for the recruitment of 346 Assistant Lineman (ALM) Vacancies. Total Number of Vacancies – 346 (Assistant Lineman) Posts
1. Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic: 216 vacancies (Female)
2. Lineman trade/ Electrician trade: 130 vacancies (Male & Female)
Other Assistant Lineman Jobs in Karnataka State:
Academic Qualifications –
• Applicants should have finished their 18 or 24 months Electrician or Electronics or Electronic Mechanic course – For 1st Vacancy
• Applicants should have completed their 10th standard and cleared their 3 years Lineman or Electrician trade courses by ITIs of KEB/KPTCL – 2nd Vacancy
• Please refer to the notification for further details about specific academic qualification
Age group –
• Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old – General Category
• Applicants should be between 18 and 38 years old – Category 2(A), 2(B), 3(A) and 3(B)
• Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years old – Category I, SC/ST
• Relaxation with respect to age is according to the rules
Process of Selection:
Applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in the medical or endurance test
Fee for Application:
• Fees for General and Category 1, 2(A), 2(B), 3(A) and 3(B) – Rs.400
• Fees for SC/ST Category – Rs. 200
• Fees can be paid by challan at any Corporate Bank
Application Procedure:
• Applicants should log onto www.mesco.in in between the 15th of March and 5 pm on the 15th of April 2016
• Please print out the submitted application form for future use

• Go to www.mesco.in and download the application form
• Applicants apply in the suggested format and Print out the acknowledgement
• Applicants need to pay the fees through the challaan
• Applicants need to submit the acknowledgement and the challan if selected for the endurance test
