Named after an eminent political leader Late Sri Kushabhau Thakre, Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya was established in 2004 at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The main subjects of the KTU are Journalism, Mass Communication and Electronic Media.
KTUJM offers diploma, graduate and post-graduate courses in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Electronic Media, Social Work and Management. Well-equipped Library which homes thousands of books gives students a chance to explore and increase their knowledge. The computer Lab helps students hone their technological skills, an audio-video studio is erected for students to take on the activities.
