ILICAT 2016 Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates
The Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test (ILICAT) 2016, is a National level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, qualifies those applicants who would like to pursue the 2 year LLM program. The Chief Justice of India and many other dignitaries from high places occupy important positions in this premium institute for Law Education in the country. Who can apply?
• 5 seats are allotted for Non Resident Indians while the remaining 30 seats are for Indian Citizens.
• The applicant must go through the eligibility criteria prior to applying to take the exam
• The applicant should have cleared the LL.B exam with an aggregate of 50% and should be ready with their original memorandum of marks and Certificate for admission

About the Examination:
• The ILI CAT exam is conducted in two parts namely the test followed by the viva voce
• The test paper is for 130 marks and has 3 parts mentioned below. In addition for every wrong answer 1/4th mark would be deducted
English and General Knowledge – 30 objective type questions and each question carries 1 mark
Law – 60 objective type questions and each question carries 1 mark
Topics covered are as follows
Constitutional Law,
Jurisprudence,
