The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is a private, non-governmental Board of School Education in India. The Council was registered in 1967 as a society under the societies Act 1860. In 1973, the Council was listed in the Delhi School Education Act 1973, as a body conducting "public" examinations.

CISCE conducts two examinations in India that is Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for class X students & Indian School Certificate (ISC) for class XII students.
