Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is the highest board in the state of Gujarat which consistently works for the Education Department - Government of Gujarat. Its functions in the academics include recommending Text Books for Government approval and registering new Secondary Schools by conducting regular inspection & supervision of secondary schools in the State.
The GSEB prescribes school timings, vacations, internal examinations and holidays for the schools along with conducting examinations, evaluating papers and releasing results. The SSC examinations will be conducted in 335 different centres all over the state of Gujarat. The board will release the details of Supplementary public examinations soon after the declaration of results. Generally every year they will be conducted in the month of October, for SSC (Standard l0).
