2009 witnessed the establishment of Central University of Himachal Pradesh at Himachal Pradesh regulated by UGC. The main aim of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh is to create world class professionals by granting them inclusive knowledge. Prof. Furqan Qamar is the present Vice Chancellor.
