2006 witnessed the formation of a Vedic University handled by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. These ideas lead to the establishment of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University or the SSVU in Tirupati. SVVU solely works on the TTD established rules and regulations. The main aim of SVVU is to spread the knowledge of Indian Culture and Vedas among students. SVVU has 4 faculties namely Veda Adhyayana, Agamadhyana, Paurohityadhyanana and Veda Bhashyadhyayana. SVVU offers three years Sastri Course (graduation) and two year Acharya Course (post-graduation) and also has departments of English and Computer Science to keep students abreast in the educational field. SVVU offers incentives to students who enroll for the Adhyayana Courses of Veda, Agama, Paurohitya, Vedabhashya courses would be given an amount of 1 lakh, which would be deposited against their name in a bank. At the end of the course, the student can take the amount. Clothing, Free books and textbooks are given to the students to encourage them and give them maximum exposure.
The students appearing for the Regular courses can access the results for the courses Rigveda, Krishna Yajurveda, Suklayajurveda, Samaveda (Ranayaniya), Atharvaveda (Saunaka), Vaikhanasagam, Pancharathragama, Saivagama, Asvalayana Paurohitya, Apastambiya Paurohitya, Vaikhanasa Paurohitya, Paraskara Paurohitya, Rigvedabhashya, Suklayajurvedabhashya, Suklayajurvedabhashya, Samavedabhashya, Atharvavedabhashya, Kalpa, Chandas, Nirukta, Purvamimamsa, Yoga 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Year and 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th Semester Regular/Supplementary revaluation examination result displayed for the academic year 2016.
