Maulana Azad National Urdu University or MANUU was established in 1998 at Hyderabad. It is a Central University which aimed at promoting Urdu Language and to impart education through Urdu medium. MANUU has established 3 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and 3 Polytechnic Colleges in Hyderabad Bangalore and Dharbanga respectively.

MANNU Hyderabad has various choices of subjects to choose from. A few of the courses offered those are M.A., M.Phil. and PhD programs in Public Administration, M.A. in Urdu, MPhil and PhD programs along with P.G. Diploma, Diploma and certificate courses to promote Urdu learning, M.A., MPhil and PhD programs in English, Arabian, Persian, Commerce & Business Management, Communication & Journalism and Sciences. The library homes books close to 32,498; excluding journals, periodicals and non-book materials.
