Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) proudly invites all the Indian students to apply for the scholarship offered by them under Indian Oil - Simon Fraser University (SFU) Canada Fellowship” scheme.

• The chosen candidates will have to complete the one year initial course at the research lab at Simon Fraser University (SFU), Canada and then have to undertake the 3 years Phd research project in India. This admission at SFU will begin from January 2016.
• Two supervisors or guides will be assigned to the selected candidates. They will guide the student during the research programme in India. Project relevant to IOCL/SFU will only be granted with fellowships.
• This fellowship is allowed to only those students who apply for Phd courses at SFU. They are granted with a 100% tuition fee and are also awarded with a four years stipend which is equal to CAD 13000.
• Also note that IOCL offers a scholarship amount that is 25% more that the current rate under CSIR research fellowship scheme, and a HRA of 30% for the time duration of stay in India for study.
• The eligible candidate needed to apply for a valid Indian Passport and also require to complete the visa procedure and overseas insurance. Also the travel expenses to and fro Canada have to paid by themselves.
Eligibility:
• The candidates must hold a Post -graduate degree from a reputed and recognised university in India in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• The applicant must have the minimum aggregate of 65% in Graduation and Post graduation level.
• The candidate should be not over 28 years as on 31st August, 2016
