The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM) holds an examination named CAT (Common Aptitude Test) 2016-2016, it’s a national level examination for students willing to attempt for management programs. The exam is conducted online once in a year in the month of October and November 2016. The details related to syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, application process, online application form and etc. are presented as below
Who can apply CAT 2016?
• Aspirants who have completed their graduation with minimum of 50% can apply for the exam
• 45% is minimum required in graduation from SC/PWD candidate
• Candidates pursuing final year of graduation are also eligible
Process of Selection:
Applicants are selected on the basis of their CAT score
About the IIM Indore CAT Examination:
• Pattern of the exam will be as of the previous year format.
• There will be two sections: one would be quantitative ability and data interpretation and other would be verbal ability and logical reasoning.
• Duration of exam would be 140 minutes (2 hr and 20 minutes)
• Paper will be with MCQ’s, along with negative marking for incorrect answers
CAT 2016 Application Procedure:
• CAT application forms can be taken from prescribed center.
• Candidates have to login to the online portal and apply by making their profile and filling up the application form with relevant details.
• CAT application vouchers will be available with all branches of Axis bank.
• Students will be able to register online at official website www.iimidr.ac.in

• Notification date : July.2016
• Start date for purchase of Application form: August to September 2016
• Test date : October to November 2016
• Results will declared in : January 2016
