Border Security Force (BSF) Communication & IT Directorate (Communication Wing) has announced the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (RM), Head Constable (RO) and Head Constable (Fitter) whose details are mentioned below. • ASI (RM): 189 (UR-37, OBC-17, SC-10, ST-04) vacancies
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + GP Rs.2800/-
• HC (RO): 417 (UR-189, OBC-112, SC-73, ST-43) vacancies
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
• HC (Fitter): 11 (UR-08, OBC-02, SC-01) vacancies
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
Academic Qualifications:
ASI (RM):
• The applicant should have completed a 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV technology/Electronics/Telecommunication or others
• The applicant should have finished his 10+2 or Intermediate with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
HC (RO):
• The applicant must have completed Matriculation along with a 2 year Industrial Training Certificate course in Radio and TV technology/Electronics
• The applicant should have finished his 10+2 or Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects
HC (Fitter):
• The applicant must have completed Matriculation along with a 2 year Industrial Training Certificate course in Engine Fitter/Diesel Mechanic/Automobile/Motor Mechanic
• The applicant should have finished his 10+2 or Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects
Age group – As on 7th July 2016
• Unreserved Category – 18 to 25 years of age
• OBC Category – 18 to 28 years of age
• SC & ST Categories – 18 to 30 years of age
Process of Selection:
• The applicant will have to clear a written test on the 24th of August 2016
• The applicant in the second phase have to clear the PST/PET Documentation/Dictation Test for HC (RO) only followed by an interview and a medical test
Written Examination:
The exam is of 3 hours and conducted at specific centers allocated by the HQ DG BSF, It includes the following --

Medical Examination:• Distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 without wearing glasses
• The applicant must clear the high-grade color vision test
• The applicant must not have knock-knees/ flat feet/squint in eyes
• The applicant must not have any deformity to interfere with performance at work

• The applicants should have a valid email address and scanned copy of photograph and signature
• The application form needs to be uploaded with the scanned copy of photograph and signature
• Once completed, registration number and password is generated which the applicants should note
• Once the fee is paid, registration process is complete
• Print out the application with the fee details and retain for future reference
