Andhra Pradesh Open University, now known as Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) is located in Hyderabad with 206 study centers around AP. With the motto “Education at Your Doorstep,” BRAOU was constituted in the year 1982. Dr.P. Prakash is currently the Chairman of BRAOU overseeing all the functionalities with care.
Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University offers courses in three languages - English, Telugu and Urdu. It also has widened its services in the field of Research, Post-graduate, P.G. Diploma, Undergraduate, Certificate and professional programs through the distance mode.It caters to the needs of students interested in distance learning and currently BRAOU has around 4,50,000 students enrolled for various courses. With a sprawling Library which homes 1,43,162 books apart from journals and non-book materials, it’s heaven to sit and gain knowledge. It also has a special cell for the Scheduled Tribe/Caste students. The Tele sessions through Radio/Doordarshan channels accommodates the distance learning in a seamless manner.

The following includes the various steps involved while downloading the BRAOU Exam Date Sheet 2016: 1. The exam takers need to log onto the official website which is -
www.braou.ac.in2. Once they do so, go to the Exam Date Sheet under ‘Examination’ or go to the News and Events section on the Home Page
3. Open the Exam Time Table page from the link mentioned and search for the time table of the course examination that you are interested to take
4. Once located, the student is expected to download, save and print the exam schedule for the relevant course.
